Hospitality, Perspective, and the Comparison Trap

I have been reading some great things lately and wanted to share them with you.   Although we need to be careful about what we read on the internet (and one is mentioned below) there are many blessings that I have gotten out of it as well.  Here's a bit of each article/ blog below to get you excited about reading them.

The unexpected blessings of hospitality.
Think about it: how many times have you been encouraged in your faith or inspired to grow in godliness by one of your guests? How often have you experienced sweet fellowship or hearty laughter or comfort and care in trial? Have you ever see the power of God at work in someone’s life or experienced His provision for you as the result of hospitality? I know I have, many times.

So thankful for good counselors who give such great perspective.
“What’s present in your life today that’s not in line with what you want for your tomorrow?”

More social media insights.
The comparison trap is just that – a trap!   Pictures of vacations, new homes, new cars, or fun nights out with friends are a breeding ground for jealousy.
