This year we decided to throw a little party for Jake :) It was perfect year to do one because he was super excited and way more aware than any other year that he was going to be a year older! We had a range of kids from teeny babies to 5 year olds at the party, and most parents know, if the kids are happy- the parents are happy. So we basically put out all of Jake's toys and then planned one big game related to the theme of the party- PJ Masks. Basically, the bad guys took a couple of "stuffed animals" and hid them around the yard so the kiddos had to put on their masks and capes and find them! The older kids definitely enjoyed this game more than the younger kids- and the stuffed animals ended up being kidnapped a couple more times :) Overall, Jake had a blast and said he wanted to do it all over again. Melted my little heart to see him having fun with all his friends! A huge thanks to everyone who came out to the party! We are so thankful for our BIG 4 year old! Where does the time go?!
