8 Months: Cole William

Oh sweet Cole.  This month has been so fun.  You are VERY quickly turning into a squirmy baby who just wants to move constantly- just like your brother was around this time!  Except you haven't quite mastered the crawling.  But if you want something within a couple feet- you very well are going to try your hardest to army crawl your way there!  This has been such a fun month with you!

• You have two more teeth that have just started to come through!  Which will make it four total very soon. 
• You are definitely up on all fours all the time and don't like to sit still anymore! Plopping you down and putting some toys in front of you does not keep you entertained for long.  
• Your crib is your favorite playground right now.  The second you are down I watch in the monitor as you roll up and then quickly pull yourself to peer out into your room.  Unfortunately you still haven't mastered getting down yet lol  Thankfully this hasn't messed up you night time sleep!
• I would like to assume that you are officially sleeping through the night- barring some sickness and travels which throw you off you've done a pretty consistent 7 to 4:30 and in my book, that is awesome.  
• Your lamb is your best friend still at naps and bedtime.  I love how anytime you see it- even if it's not nap time, you immediately start sucking your thumb because that is what you do when we give it to you in your crib haha
• This month you have officially mastered eating puffs on your own!  I'm excited to introduce some other finger foods soon :)
• You are beginning to really like baths and the pool!  You actually cried the other day when I took you out of the bath so we may need to get a couple more toys for you to play with in there!
• Jake is still by far your best friend, and there is always a smile followed by incessant kicking and laughing when you see him run by- however you really do smile at almost anyone- even the sweet ladies working in the dentist office today!
• Your are beginning to tolerate the car seat for more than 20 minutes which is a huge win and you're starting to enjoy the stroller too- which means we have been running again!  
• I still just can't believe you are so big.  I feel like yesterday you were sitting next to me in my bed just a couple weeks old.  Now if I laid you next to me you would keep rolling until you fell on the floor lol.  It's so true that these months are the most tiring and hardest but they truly do go by so so fast.  What a fun season of life we are in right now :)  We love you little man!
