Our typical morning

We transitioned Jake into a toddler bed, thanks to some friends who are letting us borrow theirs for the time being!  For some reason, he has been waking up pretty early since being in the bed so we have been enjoying some extra quality time in the mornings :) 

I have been trying to get out of the habit of letting Jake watch T.V. right away while I do some cleaning/ laundry/ organizing, etc., especially since he watches a show now while I run on the treadmill to train for the marathon.  It's actually been fun though to sip my coffee while we play trains, pretend we are in rocket ships, and hang out in the play room for a couple hours before we start our day.  Especially since we're not in any hurry to get out of the house on these cold mornings!  He has got SUCH a big imagination these days and it's fun to see what games he comes up with :)  It's crazy to see how much he's changed since last winter!
