Christmas Morning {A video}

So remember how I mentioned that my dad got a new camera for Christmas?   Well, on Christmas morning he was testing out the video and took some footage and unfortunately it didn't take any sound :/  However, because I saw this apple commercial almost a hundred times over the holidays {and who saw it and didn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling inside them?} I decided to create my own little Christmas morning video with his footage.  But please don't compare my video to Apple's, because remember, they're professionals and this is my first :)

Things I'm loving these days...

sometimes in the morning I let Jake sleep next to me while Dan gets ready allowing me an extra 15 minutes of sleep. I'm  not into co sleeping, but I really like those couple minutes :) via

It's been a while ...

... since I've posted some of my favorite links!  I have been seeing a lot of fun things recently so I thought I would share them with  you. Get excited.

First, this song has been on repeat for me all weekend.

Despite my heartburn, I made these this past weekend and they were really good... (tip- I cooked the chicken in the crockpot.. so good)

Hope in Death

It's been a while since I've been this moved by a video shown at church.  This video was a much needed reminder for me to keep an eternal focus every. single. day. because we don't know how much longer we have here on this earth.  It made me think about how I would respond to the news that this man received: terminal cancer.  Although I'm sure there were moments of fear and sadness, his overriding response of finding hope in God and joy of being in heaven was so encouraging.  I would have a tissue nearby if I were you, I was thankful Becca sitting next to me at church had some in her purse :)
