A couple weeks ago our friend Andy set the bar preeeetty high for the rest of us when he threw this awesome surprise 30th birthday celebration for his wife, Becca. He spent quite a few weeks planning this fancy trip to downtown Chicago which included a limo ride to the city, appetizers and games in the park, an escape the room game (totally recommend doing one if you can!), cocktails at the top of trump towers (which unfortunately didn't happen, but we still checked out the view and snapped a pic- apparently it costs $100 PER PERSON just for a reservation, and then you pay for your food and drinks on top of that, eek!), and dinner at a yummy Italian Tapas Restaurant. It was definitely a treat out for us and totally felt like old times when we all used to hang out pre kiddos with each other on the weekend :) Which reminds me that we definitely need to jump on finding a sitter so we can do that more often lol Here's some pictures of our fun day out!
