Babies and friends in Indy :)

Last weekend we drove down to Indianapolis to visit with our friends who recently had a baby!  We met little Lizzy (2 months) and Benjamin (3 months).  It honestly is surreal to think that just a short 5 years ago we were all in college and now we are sitting around with babies trying to keep nap times straight.  But, we feel SO blessed and it's fun to have other people in our life at this stage of life to share all our experiences with!  It will be so fun to see each of our baby's personalities as they get older.  I can't even imagine where we will all be in 5 years!  Here's to more reunions :)

I am apologizing in advance for the out of order pictures.

One night we met up with some of our friends from our FL trip a couple years ago (remember this vacation?!) Two of our friends from that trip had a babies, too!  Abram and Caleb :)  From left to right: Benjamin, Jake, Lizzy, Abram, and Caleb.

First Halloween

We debated back and forth what we wanted to do for Jake's Halloween costume.   A couple years back when we lived in Arlington Heights they do trick or treating at the shops and I saw a baby in a pumpkin outfit and almost died because he was so cute.  So, since then I was set that when we had one of our own their first costume would be a pumpkin.  Then, we started looking at prices.  Ugh. It's so hard to justify spending anything over $20 on a Halloween outfit for a baby who will only wear it once.  And then I was shopping at H & M when my friend Jamie was in town and (who knew?!) they sell cheap baby costumes.  Well, they really only sold one baby costume.. in three different colors.  It was a little bear outfit.  The only one in Jake's size was a brown one so we went with it.  Jake was sleeping so we didn't bother trying it on, but figured what baby wouldn't look cute in a little bear outfit?  I know.  Such an exciting, memorable story.  Either way, we obviously had to document his first Halloween so here are some shots we took :)

Claire was a lady bug and she SO stinkin' cute.

Jake was not cooperating when we tried to do a photo shoot.  Claire was clearly entertained.

haha Jake looks terrified.  Claire on the otherhand.. cute as always :)
