This year we made our usual stop in Pennsylvania to see both sides of the family and then we met up with Dan's brother and his soon to be wife at a half way point in Columbus (they were in Dayton) the following day. And although I hoped that eating in a food court would give Jake a chance to run around a bit after sitting in the car for 2 hours, he decided instead it was a good place to fall asleep. There went our idea of him sleeping the rest of the ride home haha. However it worked out well because we got to have more meaningful conversation with Dan's family and Beth is a great entertainer for Jake in the back seat (since she came with us :) )
